This photograph shows the dramatic effect of an upper eyelid lift (otherwise known as blepharoplasty). During the eyelid lift, excess skin, muscle and fat is removed from the upper eyelid. Following the eyelid lift, the eyelid crease is restored and the eye appears brighter, more alert and more youthful. The appearance should be natural.
